The Leuze LBK safety radar system enables safe operation by using radar-based sensors that “see” through and ignore static objects within their scanned volume. This eliminates shadowed areas in the safety zones and allows for easy redeployment of your Mobile Cobot System without needing to reprogram or clear frequently moved objects, such as trash cans, chairs, stools, and bins. These non-moving objects are ignored by the radar sensors, while the system detects people entering the zone, triggering the cobot’s programmed slowdown or stop functions.
