BWT Automation will send you a quotation with estimated LTL shipping based on your submitted online request or information taken over the phone should you prefer to make a request by phone. When we receive your Purchase Order we will issue the first of two invoices for 35% of your order total. Payment of this initial invoice secures your order, and we will begin work on your order. When your order is complete and ready to ship, we will issue the second invoice for 65% of your order total plus shipping. We will ship your order when this final invoice has been paid.
If your purchase qualifies as tax exempt in your state, please include your tax exempt documents with your purchase order. For returning customers who have already submitted tax exempt documents, your order will be automatically processed as a tax exempt purchase.
Canceled orders are subject to a cancellation fee depending on the order and fabrication progress at the time of cancellation.
All BWT Automation carts ship LTL. Your quotation will include estimated shipping with the final shipping cost calculated just prior to shipment and listed on the second invoice. We can also ship using your corporate shipping account if you prefer this option.
When your order ships, we will send you the shipping tracking number in an email along with delivery inspection instructions. When your order is delivered, inspect the exterior shipping container for damages and open the container and inspect the cart for damages. If you find the cart is damaged, refuse delivery and contact us immediately.
All mobile cobot cart purchases are final and cannot be returned. However, should you discover a quality or workmanship issue with your cart please contact us at support@bwtautomation.com and we will resolve the issue.
Leuze safety sensors, controllers, cables, and emergency stop buttons are covered under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase. Should you experience a problem or failure with a Leuze product please contact us at support@bwtautomation.com. We will help diagnosis the problem and work to quickly replace any defective electronic components as quickly as possible.
Universal Robots collaborative robots are covered under the warranty package selected at the time of your Complete Mobile System purchase. If you have trouble with your Universal Robots cobot please contact us at support@bwtautomation.com. We will help diagnosis the problem and determine if we need to submit a warranty claim.
Once we receive your Purchase Order, we will send you an initial invoice for 35% of the total order cost. Payment of this invoice secures your order, and we will begin fabrication. When your order is ready to ship, you will receive a final invoice for the remaining balance, plus shipping costs. Your order will be shipped after the final invoice is paid.
Absolutely! Many of our customers request custom additions such as a custom-cut pneumatic panel, drilled and tapped top and/or base plates, or controls enclosures punched to their specifications. Additionally, we can wire and load the controls cabinet, install and plumb pneumatics, and complete assembly tasks so that your cart arrives ready to use. We can accommodate almost any custom design or assembly request. Please include any custom work in your quotation request, and we will contact you to ensure we have all the details needed to build your cart.

We offer the following high gloss powder coat colors as standard options. These colors are the most popular choices and ones which our powder coating vendor keeps in stock.
There is no need to make a color selection to receive a quotation. Your quote will include a color swatch diagram that you can use to help decide your preferred cart color and, if you’d like, contrasting apron color choice. Please include your cart and apron color choices on your Purchase Order.
If you’d like a color that’s not listed, we will need the RGB, HEX, or RAL color code for that color. Our powder coating vendor has roughly 200 color and texture options, and we can almost always find a powder that very closely matches your custom color request. Please note that a custom color request usually does not affect price but may increase the lead time of your order.
